(INDIANAPOLIS) - Hoosiers who enjoy quality craft beers will now have Dogfish Head beers available to them in central Indiana as Zink Distributing Company adds Dogfish Head’s beers to its portfolio of craft beers.
Dogfish Head will be available to central Indiana customers beginning the week of Oct. 13, after its beers haven't been available for two years in Indiana.
"We are proud to bring back Dogfish Head's beers to Indiana, especially since we know its beers are popular among Hoosiers," said Jim Zink, Jr., vice president and general manager of Zink Distributing Company. "As we continue to see a surge in the market for craft beers, Zink remains committed to distributing high-quality products to central Indiana consumers."
Last December, Dogfish Head's beers were reintroduced into the Indiana market. Zink Distributing with three other distributors in Indiana recently entered into new partnerships with the Milton, Delaware brewer to begin distribution this month.
"It takes time to find the right partners," said Dogfish Head Founder and President Sam Calagione in a statement on the company's website. "I'm excited that we're going deep in Indiana with the help of these four top-notch distributors."
Zink Distributing will distribute Dogfish Head's 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, Indian Brown Ale, Midas Touch, Palo Santo Marron, Burton Baton, Tweason'ale, Namaste and several limited releases.
Dogfish Head produces nearly 20 styles of beer that are sold in more than 25 states. The company first started brewing beer in 1995 at its Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. After tremendous growth, the brewery expanded several times. Its entire production is in Milton, Delaware in a 100,000 square-foot cannery, which was converted in 2002 by the brewery.
