(BROWNSBURG) - Brownsburg police are investigating after a dead woman was found in a car parked on an Interstate 74 entrance ramp.
Department spokeswoman Sgt. April Hyde said an officer patrolling near I-74 and Ronald Reagan Parkway spotted the vehicle just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The officer found a dead woman in the back seat of the car, Hyde said.
The woman was later identified as 35-year-old Marie Sullivan of Indianapolis.
The woman's time of death is not known, police said.
There were no signs of trauma or foul play, and police said they don't know if anyone else had been in the vehicle or if the woman had stopped to rest in the back seat.
An autopsy was conducted, and officials are waiting for results.
