(TERRE HAUTE) - A Terre Haute day care owner is facing charges after a 8-month-old child was injured.
Laura Hendrix, who operates Precious Treasures Day Care, is facing charges of child neglect, obstruction of justice and false informing.
Court documents state a child under her care fell and broke a leg. Police report Hendrix didn't call paramedics and did not tell the parents of the child.
She is scheduled to appear in a Vigo County Court on Thursday.
