Police Issue Warning Following Birthday Party Shooting

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A warning from Indianapolis Police after a birthday party turned into a shooting over the weekend.

The shooting happened on Saturday and two people, a 13 and 19 year old, were hit. The birthday party was advertised on Instagram and police estimate that up to 150 people were at the home.

Police are reminding you not to send party invitations to the open public via social media. Police say it often leads to things like excessive drug use, fights, and damage to property. They also note that homeowner can be held liable for anyone that gets hurt.

The investigation in this case continues. One of the victim's has since been released , the other was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
