(ANDERSON ) - The family of a Chesterfield woman killed in a hit-and-run accident want some answers.
26-year-old Keri Winningham died Saturday night when she was hit while walking down a road in Anderson. The vehicle left the scene.
Police said a second vehicle struck Winningham and then stopped to call for help.
Winningham's family said the way she died magnifies their grief and they hope someone comes forward to bring them closure.
While Winningham's family raises money to pay for her funeral, they are pleading for anyone with information about the fatal hit-and-run accident to come forward.
