Decomposed Body Found In Pendelton Might Have Been There For Weeks

(PENDLETON) - Fishermen found a badly decomposed body Saturday behind some businesses at the Pendleton exit at I-69 and State Road 38.

Pendleton Police weren't able to tell whether the victim is male or female because the body was so badly decomposed, but they now know the body is that of a man and it might have been there for about two weeks.

Officials say the body was found this afternoon on some property behind the Subway and Downing's Old Trail Restaurant on State Road 38. The business area is located off of I-69 exit 219.
