(NEW ALBANY) - A former Indiana State trooper acquitted last year in the fatal shootings of his wife and two children is asking a judge to hold another man convicted in the case accountable for the slayings.
David Camm's attorney says they've asked a Floyd Circuit Court judge to enter a judgment against Charles Boney, who was convicted of murder in the deaths of Kim, Brad and Jill Camm.
Boney had testified for prosecutors that Camm had committed the September 2000 slayings.
Camm attorney David Mosley tells The Courier-Journal that Boney "has already been determined to be responsible beyond a reasonable doubt."
Camm was convicted twice on murder charges in his family's killings, but both convictions were overturned on appeal. He was acquitted last fall in their deaths following a third trial.
