(SOUTH BEND) - A northern Indiana woman will face a feticide charge in the death of her newborn.
A judge ruled the charge can stand against 33-year-old Purvi Patel.
The baby's body was found outside a Mishawaka restaurant in July 2013 in a trash bin. Patel told doctors the baby was stillborn, but a forensic pathologist ruled the infant was born alive.
