Second Of Three Children Return Home After Kidnapped By Mother

Last updated on Thursday, August 7, 2014

(GREENFIELD) - Nearly 19 years after a Greenfield man’s three children were kidnapped by their mother during a custody fight, a second child has returned home.

Andrew Slinkard has been reunited with his father Steve.

Earlier this year, Nathan Slinkard, who had been living in Mexico with his mother and siblings for 18 years, walked into the U.S. Consulate there and said he wanted to return home.

Andrew was 7 and Nathan 5 when their mother Trena disappeared with them.

Their younger sister, Sidney, was 3 when they were taken, and has not yet returned home.
