(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man police believe killed a woman before turning the gun on himself has died, according to the Marion County coroner’s office.
Police officials said Joshua Higgins shot and killed Candice Hunter before running from the home and shooting himself. He had been in critical condition at an Indianapolis hospital since Aug. 10.
At the time of the incident, police officials described it as a domestic disturbance.
Officials with the coroner's office confirmed Higgins death. An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
