Last updated on Thursday, August 21, 2014

(VIGO CO.) - One man is dead following a three-semi crash in Vigo County Wednesday night.

State Police say the crash clogged eastbound traffic at a construction zone on I-70 near the 8 mile marker just after 7:30.

They say a 2007 Volvo Tractor pulling two box trailers, failed to slow down or stop and hit a semi driven by 53-year-old Randy Staton of Muskogee, Oklahoma. That semi rammed into a box trailer and semi driven by 46-year-old Anthony Dewrock of Kennett, Missouri.

The driver of the semi that did not stop died on the scene. The male driver's name has not been released.

Staton and Dewrock suffered minor injuries.
