Hancock Co. Coroner Returns To Work Following Theft Charges

Last updated on Tuesday, August 5, 2014

(GREENFIELD) - After pleading guilty to the theft of toys from Walmart, the coroner in Hancock County has returned to work.

30-year-old Crystel Myers pleaded guilty last week to conversion, which according to the law means intentionally controlling property belonging to someone else.

It's a misdemeanor, which means that Myers will not lose her job as the elected coroner unless she is voted out or decides not to seek re-election.
