Bird Takes ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Calls Colts Owner Jim Irsay To Go Next

Last updated on Thursday, August 21, 2014

(UNDATED) - Peyton’s done it. The Colts Cheerleaders have done it. Now it’s Larry Legend’s turn.

Larry Bird became the latest to take the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. He did so at the behest of George Hill:

After taking this #BirdBath, the Pacers president called on Pacers administrative assistant Susy Fischer and Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay to take the icy jolt.

In addition to Bird, Hill also challenged Donnie Walsh and coach Frank Vogel.

Vogel accepted the challenge as well and called on Roy Hibbert, Solomon Hill and former Pacer Lance Stephenson to go next. (Watch on Instagram)

While we're at it in this NBA-themed edition of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Pacers legend Reggie Miller also got in on the action. He challenged former Pacers teammate Mark Jackson and fellow basketball analysts Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Shaquille O'Neal.
