Last updated on Monday, July 7, 2014

(MILLTOWN) - Indiana conservation officers say two Louisville residents were injured Friday night when the ATV they were riding struck a barbed wire fence near Milltown in Crawford County.

The driver, 47-year-old Lisa March, and a passenger, 54-year-old Larry Koch, suffered lacerations and possible broken bones.

Neither was wearing a helmet during the incident.

Authorities say speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the accident.

Possible charges are pending.
