(CROWN POINT) - Charges have been filed against the son of an 80-year-old woman found stabbed to death in her hospital room.
60-year-old Rodney Dickinson was charged over the weekend in connection with the death of Margrine Haywood, who was a patient at Methodist Hospitals' Southlake campus in Merrillville.
Haywood's husband, James Haywood, was found stabbed to death in his Gary home a few hours after her stabbing, but no charges have been filed in connection with his death.
