(COLUMBUS) - Columbus police have released more information about a Sunday night stabbing.
Lt. Matt Myers, spokesman for the Columbus Police Department, said police were called to the 3800 block of Longshore Drive at about 10:40 last night and found a 28-year-old victim with a stab wound to the back.
Police says the victim reported that he was walking to a family member's house and found three men he did not know standing in the front yard.
They attacked him but he was unable to provide police with descriptions. There are also inconsistencies in his story, Myers said. The victim was taken to Columbus Regional Hospital and later released.
Detectives are still investigating the incident.
