(HANCOCK CO.) - The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department says the remains found earlier this week are those of a man missing since June.
An autopsy confirmed the remains are those of 56-year-old Jody Scroggins. He was reported missing on June 24th.
Officials say the autopsy did not reveal any signs of foul play. A cause of death has not yet been determined, however toxicology reports are still pending.
