(DUBOIS CO.) - Dubois woman was injured Sunday afternoon in a head-on crash caused when she swerved to avoid hitting a deer.
The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says the accident occurred on Kellerville Road when 63-year-old Judy Douglas swerved into the oncoming lane.
Douglas was admitted to Jasper Memorial Hospital for treatment of a fractured wrist, abdominal pain, and ankle pain.
The driver of the other vehicle, 35-year-old Jonathan Bateman of Jasper, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
