(CLARK CO.) - Indiana Conservation Officers charged four people in separate drug-related incidents Saturday night at the Clark State Forest, near Henryville.

As a result of routine patrols, three persons were issued summons to appear in court, while a fourth was incarcerated at the Clark County Jail.

Of those four, 18-year-old Koleton Freitas of Underwood was cited for Dealing Marijuana, while 19-year-old Cody Spellman of Henryville received a citation for possession of paraphernalia. 21-year-old Hans Hargis of Underwood was cited for marijuana possession and paraphernalia, and 22-year-old Katherine Pennington of Austin was jailed for possession of meth.

Indiana Conservation Officers routinely patrol the state's DNR properties in an effort to ensure the safe use of their facilities and natural resources. Citizens are urged to report suspicious or criminal activity by calling Indiana Conservation Officers' Central Dispatch at 812-837-9536.

All charges are merely accusations and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
