Accused Murderers Appeared In Court

Last updated on Thursday, July 24, 2014

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two men accused of killing a pizza delivery driver were in court Wednesday afternoon for a pre-trial hearing.

Jeremiah Roberts and Derek Romano were homeless and staying at a dog shelter on Indy's southwest side, according to prosecutors. Detectives believe they lured John Sullivan to that location by ordering a pizza back in January. Detectives found Sullivan's body in the basement of the shelter on South Belmont Avenue.

Roberts and Romano left the state but were later captured in Wyoming. Both of them face robbery and murder charges.
