Storms Cause Power Outages Across State

(UNDATED) - Strong storms moved across the state Wednesday night—leaving thousands of people without power.

Hail, lightning and damaging winds were reported.

There were nearly 12,000 Duke Energy customers without power last night. Indianapolis Power & Light reported more than 1,300 customers without power after the storm. Indiana Michigan Power had over 5,000 customers in DeKalb, Elkhart, St. Joseph and Allen counties without power.
