Last updated on Thursday, June 5, 2014

(PERU) — Investigators have determined the identity of the person found dead in the Mississinewa River on Monday.

Indiana Department of Natural Resources officials said 73-year-old Kokomo resident Charles Stout was the person found by a fisherman in Miami County.

Although it's suspected that a medical condition Stout had may have contributed to his death, the investigation is ongoing and no official cause of death has been determined.
