(WARSAW) - Police say a 2-year-old child was badly hurt after falling from a second-story balcony at a northern Indiana apartment complex.
Warsaw police Lt. Kip Shuter says the child apparently climbed up on a chair near the railing and somehow went over the edge Monday evening. Shuter tells WSJV-TV the child was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Investigators believe the fall was an accident in the city about 40 miles southeast of South Bend.
