Last updated on Thursday, May 22, 2014

(NEW ALBANY) - Attorneys in the William Clyde Gibson case were in court Wednesday to argue motions pertaining to jury selection, evidence and Gibson’s controversial new tattoo.

Gibson is set to stand trial next month in Floyd County for the murder of Stephanie Kirk.

Gibson was sentenced to death last fall after being convicted of killing Christine Whitis in 2012. He also was sentenced last month to 65 years in prison after agreeing to plead guilty in the death of Karen Hodella.
