Last updated on Wednesday, May 7, 2014

(FISHERS) - Republican Scott Fadness is the big Primary night winner in Fishers.

The town manager is poised to become the first ever Mayor of Fishers should he win the November election. Fadness says he focused on a grassroots effort and that's ultimately what he says won the Republican primary for him. He beat out five other challengers. He edged out his closest challenger Walt Kelly by about 400 votes. Fadness also announced that his wife Aunna is pregnant. Fadness says he's now looking forward to November. So far, democrats haven't named a possible challenger.
