Indy To Crack Down On Illegal Dumping

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The City of Indianapolis is cracking down on illegal dumping.

Mayor Greg Ballard says beginning June 1st, residents should report illegal dumping and trash to the Mayor's Action Center at 327-4MAC.

The Mayor says city Department of Code Enforcement inspectors will respond to scenes. He says if they find that materials were illegally dumped on private property, property owners can sign an affidavit and city crews will clean up the site at no additional cost.
