(UNDATED) - Indiana Dunes State Park is open, despite some confusion surrounding the closure of Mount Baldy.
The DNR says the Dunes remain open for visitors despite the closure of Mount Baldy, along with its parking lot, trail and beach.
The National Park Service continues to investigate holes and depressions found on top of the dune.
A 6-year old Illinois boy fell into one of the holes.
