(VINCENNES) - Vincennes fire crews responded to a fire at C&G Quality Dry Cleaning Services on Washington Street just before midnight Wednesday.
Fire officials stated active chemicals used in the dry cleaning process burned quickly, making the fire tough to extinguish.
"The fire advanced so quickly, it's a dry cleaning business so all that got started, I mean we couldn't put enough water on it fast enough," said Vincennes Fire Chief, Gordon Becher.
Homes nearby were not damaged, according to officials.
