16 Indicted For Indiana Meth Ring

Last updated on Friday, May 16, 2014

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Federal prosecutors say a grand jury has indicted 16 people for running a methamphetamine distribution ring that operated in Indianapolis and south central Indiana.

They said Thursday that the persons indicted on methamphetamine distribution included residents of North Vernon, Seymour, Osgood and Butlerville. One other person was indicted on a charge of maintaining a drug house and four others with unlawful use of a communications device.

U.S. Attorney Joe Hogsett said the indictments resulted from an ongoing investigation that already had produced seven arrests for drug trafficking and firearms violations in the Mars Hill neighborhood on the southwest side of Indianapolis.
