Vincennes Man Arrested After Police Find 9 Pounds Of Marijuana

(VINCENNES) - A Vincennes man was arrested after police discovered nine pounds of marijuana.

Vincennes Police went to a residence in the 600 block of North First Street Friday morning to follow up on a report of illegal drug sales there.

The occupants of the home consented to a search of the residence.

That's when officers found the nine pounds of marijuana, packaged in various increments.

36-year old Lance Mallett was arrested and charged with Dealing in Marijuana, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and two counts of Neglect of a Dependent.

He was booked into the Knox County Jail on $6500 bond.
