Two Women Arrested After Stealing More Than $1,100 In Items From Jasper Walmart

(JASPER) - Two Huntingburg Women were arrested yesterday after an $1,100 shoplifting spree at the Jasper Walmart.

25-year-old Bessy Lopez and 41-year-old Maria Ayala were arrested after Walmart Loss Prevention personnel detained the two at the store.

The two women allegedly tried to steal clothing and shoes valued at more thatn $1,172 dollars.

They were charges with felony theft and booked into the Dubois County Security Center.
