(SCOTT CO.) - On Tuesday Indiana State Police Detective David Mitchell from the Sellersburg Post was assigned to assist the Scott County Sheriff’s Department with investigating a 20-year-old man that had allegedly been involved in sexual misconduct with a minor in Scott County.
During the investigation, Detective Mitchell found that Steven A. White, from Terry Road in rural Scott County, had allegedly been sneaking into the home of a 15-year-old girl during the night and engaging in sexually related activities.
After completing the investigation, Detective Mitchell turned the case into the Scott County Prosecutor's Office and an arrest warrant was issued for White's arrest..
White was arrested Tuesday afternoon on ten felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and two felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
The Scott County Department of Child Services, assisted in the investigation.
