Last updated on Friday, April 25, 2014

(SOUTH BEND) - A new drug has reached Michiana and police are warning people that it is dangerous.

The drug is called 25-I or n-bomb.

It has been spotted in Michigan City and has citizens in La Porte County on the lookout.

25-I is an extremely potent synthetic drug that the DEA says is related to LSD and Ecstasy.

It's a white powder that is either being sold in powder form or mixed in alcohol or energy drinks.

It is then either being snorted, or the liquid is dropped in the mouth or nose to be ingested.

The side effects of the drug include blurred vision, an increased breathing rate and it messes with an individual's senses.
