Extra Police At Pendleton School After Threat Posted On Instagram

(PENDLETON) - Extra police officers were called to patrol Pendleton Heights Middle School Wednesday after a threat was made against students.

The school sent out a letter to parents saying a threat was posted anonymously on Instagram. You can see in the screen grab from the Instagram account in question the poster threatened to start a "killing spree" once the account got 25 followers. It reached that marker by 9:30 Wednesday morning.

The school is working with police to learn who is responsible for the threat.
