Columbus North Student Arrested After Death List Discovered

Last updated on Thursday, April 24, 2014

(COLUMBUS) - A Columbus North High School student is facing expulsion after a teacher discovered a death list.

Allegedly, the 16-year-old student had a list describing various deaths of 15 other students and a staff member. The student's descriptions included "throat slit," "strangled," and "stabbed in chest and throat."

School and police officials determined there was no direct thread delivered to any of the students on the list or the staff member.

The student was not arrested and no criminal charges are being pursued at this time. However the matter has been forwarded to the Bartholomew County Juvenile Probation officers.

The school disciplined the student and could be expelled.
