(CARROLL CO.) - The wife of the former Carroll County sheriff has been charged with two counts of theft.
Jean Ann Randle, wife of Dennis Randle, faces one charge of theft and another charge of theft where the value of property is at least $100,000.
Clinton County Prosecutor Anthony Sommer will serve as a special prosecutor on the case. Sommer said at this time he is not releasing any other information about the case.
A hearing date has yet to be set.
