Woman Raped After Accepting Ride From Strangers

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Two women say they were raped after hitching a ride with two strangers.

The two women say they were waiting for a bus near 16th & Emerson early Saturday morning. Instead of getting on the bus, they opted to take a ride from two men in a red van who offered to take them to their destination.

The women say they were then driven to an undetermined location on Shadeland Avenue and sexually assaulted by the two men. The police report states one of the men had a gun.

One of the men had a stocky build, was about age 35 and was wearing a red shirt and red camouflage plants and possibly goes by the name "Chris".

The other male suspect is thought to be around age 25, had a thin build and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a big silver cross necklace.
