Man Killed During Maintenance Work At Gibson Co. Cole Plant

(GIBSON CO.) - An investigation is underway after a worker was killed on the job overnight in Gibson County.

Gibson County Coal officials tell 14 News that 41-year old Timothy Memmer, of Princeton, was killed at the Princeton facility just before 2:00 Tuesday morning.

Officials say Memmer was killed while performing some maintenance on a piece of mining equipment with another worker.

No word yet from the coroner's office on when the autopsy may be performed.

Investigations are still ongoing.
