(NOBLESVILLE) - Jury selection started Monday morning in the trial for the man accused of killing his toddler son last year.
Micah Harrison of Alabama stabbed his 2-year-old boy to death in Noblesville last January, according to prosecutors.
The victim's grandmother said Harrison brought his three children to Indiana without their mother.
She also said that before the attack Harrison believed someone or something was trying to kill him, and she saw him attack a closet door with a claw hammer.
Harrison is currently in the Hamilton County Jail.
The prosecutor may seek a life sentence without parole.
