Last updated on Monday, March 3, 2014

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Police closed a near-east side bar Sunday over allegations that the owner and employees engaged in prostitution and drug dealing.

A search warrant was executed Sunday morning at Sabor Bohemio, located at 4002 E. Washington Street. The business is billed online as a Mexican restaurant and pub.

Officers from IMPD's vice unit arrested four females on preliminary charges including dealing cocaine and prostitution.

The owner of the restaurant, Zeferano Alvarez, 50, of Indianapolis, was charged with maintaining a public nuisance that facilitated drugs, nudity and sex acts, and violating the scope of his alcoholic beverage permit.
