Indiana State Police Find 660 Grams Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

(VANDERBURGH CO.) - Indiana State Police arrested a 21-year-old Evansville man after 660 grams of suspected marijuana was found inside his Jeep during a traffic stop Saturday night.

According to ISP, a trooper was patrolling North First Avenue near North Park Drive when he saw a Jeep Grand Cherokee going 43 in a 30 mph zone.

The trooper said he smelled an odor of raw marijuana when he pulled the Jeep over.

ISP says a search of the vehicle turned up digital scales, a metal plant grinder, approximately 100 small plastic baggies and several shrink-wrapped bags containing 663 grams of suspected marijuana. They also seized over $1,900 in cash.

21-year-old Joshua Woods of Evansville was arrested on charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
