(EVANSVILLE) - Evansville Police say two man have been arrested in connection with multi-county business burglary spree.

EPD says the two men were arrested in Clarksville, Indiana early Thursday morning during a business burglary.

Investigators believe the men have committed numerous business burglaries in several Indiana cities, including Evansville, over the last few months.

EPD says they have been working with several other law enforcement agencies and were able to identify a possible suspect, 30-year-old Jeffery Green, of Evansville.

Investigators were monitoring Green's activity Wednesday night.

They say Green and another man, identified as 45-year-old Joseph Sidener, drove to Clarksville, Indiana and broke into a business. Investigators alerted local law enforcement while the pair was committing the burglary.

Green and Sidener were arrested and charged with burglary in Clark County.

EPD says they will be reviewing reports in order to connect the two with any burglaries they have may have committed in Evansville. Investigators are also looking in to the possibility that there are more people involved in the crimes.

Green and Sidener are being held in the Clark County Jail.

The investigation is on-going.
