(UNDATED) - 10,000 Chicago Style pizzas are headed to soldiers overseas in time for the Super Bowl.
Illinois governor Pat Quinn, DHL Express and the Pizzas for Patriots Program teamed up to send the ready to bake pizzas to troops in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Oman.
Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs Director Erica Broggren, who served in Iraq, says having a piece of home is always a treat for soldiers.
