Three Dead In Shooting At Elkhart Supermarket

(ELKHART) - Three people are dead following a shooting at an Elkhart grocery store.

State police say the shooting happened just after 10 p.m. at the Martin's Super Market. The store was open at the time of the shooting.

The gunman, a female shopper and a female employee are among the dead.

Sgt Trent Smith said a police officer ended the situation by shooting the suspect.

A motive is still unknown.

The names of the victims have not been released. The unknown shooter was described as a man in his late teens to early 20s.
