Teacher Faces Child Seduction Charges

(NEWBURGH) - A high school teacher in Gibson County is behind bars on a charge of Child Seduction.

Indiana State Police say 32-year-old Kyle Scott of Newburgh, Indiana had an inappropriate relationship with a student at Wood Memorial High School last month.

Investigators say between December 12-18, 2013, Scott allegedly sent several inappropriate text messages to the student which included at least one picture and video. Scott also allegedly fondled the student on at least one occasion.

Police arrested Scott Tuesday afternoon at his home. He was taken to the Gibson County Jail on a felony charge of Child Seduction. He's being held on $10,000 dollars bond.
