(GARY) - A Valparaiso man was shot in a road rage incident on Interstate 80 in Lake County.
State police say the victim cut in front of another vehicle to merge onto the interstate.
The suspect driver began yelling at the victim and a short time later the victim heard a bang and discovered he had been shot once in the upper back. The gunshot was not life-threatening.
The suspect is described as a middle age black male with very short hair, driving a silver or gray Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.
