(INDIANAPOLIS) - Funeral services are planned for noon today for former Indiana Congressman Andy Jacobs, Junior.
The long-serving Democrat retired from the House or Representatives in 1997, where he served since 1964 (except for a two-year hiatus in 1972 - 1974).
Jacobs' body is lying in state at the State House Rotunda, where the funeral will be held.
Governor Mike Pence has directed that flags be flown at half-staff Friday to honor former Congressman Andy Jacobs, Jr. Flags should be flown at half-staff from morning to sunset on Friday, January 3rd.
