Coats Vows To Keep Fighting Obamacare

Last updated on Wednesday, January 22, 2014

(INDIANAPOLIS) - U.S. Senator Dan Coats spelled out his priorities for 2014 in a Statehouse news conference Tuesday.

At the top of the list is the Senator's desire to continue fighting Obamacare. The Republican says that his biggest concern is the medical device tax that would affect a number of Indiana companies.

"It has major impact on our state," said Coats. "It has bi-partisan support. 24 Democrats have joined 45 Republicans to impress on the president that this egregious tax on gross sales on medical devices needs to be repealed."

Coats is working repeal legislation along with Minnesota Democrat Amy Klobuchar.
