Man Shot In Car, Drives To Fire Station For Help

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man who had been shot in his vehicle drove to the Indianapolis Fire station at 5520 East 38th Street around 11 pm Wednesday night.

The man is listed in critical condition after being shot on the city's east side Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred in the 3600 block of Whittier Place around 10:50 p.m.

A woman told police that a man was knocking at her door yelling for help because he had been shot.

The woman proceeded to call 911, but the male left.

Shortly after officers talked with the woman, the victim showed up at IFD Station.

Medics at the fire station transported the victim to Eskenazi.
