(BRISTOL) - Authorities say a man and woman were killed when a fire swept through a mobile home in far northern Indiana.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says the fire was reported at roughly 7 a.m. Monday at the Timberbrook Mobile Home Park near the town of Bristol, Ind., about 10 miles north of Elkhart. The home was fully engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived.
WNDU-TV reports that a woman and a man died in the fire. The victims' names have not been released by authorities.
Medical helicopters were originally called to the scene, but dispatchers later called them off.
